Fine Stoneworking Tools & Customer Service
Trow & Holden’s chisels, hammers, and pneumatic tools are highly regarded for their quality and craftsmanship. Our tools are used by professional tradespeople, talented artisans, and skilled stoneworking enthusiasts alike. They are designed to perform reliably under demanding circumstances, and they are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship.
Under this guarantee, Trow & Holden will repair or replace any Trow & Holden tool evaluated and found to be defective within the normal service life of the tool.
Damage or failure resulting from misuse, abuse, mishandling, neglect, use after a tool is damaged or significantly worn, or failure to correctly maintain a tool are not covered under this guarantee. The most common conditions resulting in tool damage not covered by this guarantee are:
- Failure to grind the striking head and sharpen the blade as needed
- Dipping a carbide-tipped chisel into water or oil to cool it during sharpening
- Using a tool to perform a task for which it was not intended
Struck and striking surfaces, as well as stone-cutting surfaces, are subject to normal wear and tear, which may vary depending on specific applications. Conditions reasonably resulting from normal wear and tear will not be covered under this guarantee.
For more detailed instruction on proper use and maintenance, please review our tool guides in the Tool Use & Care section.
If you believe your tool has a manufacturing or materials defect, please contact Trow & Holden directly before returning any tool for repair or replacement. Never use a tool if there is a question about its condition or performance.
