If drilling with power tools simply is not an option, there is always the old fashioned method. Our fully hardened steel Hand Plug Drill, like a Star Drill, is used with a hand hammer to manually drill holes into stone.
Simply place the drill's chisel-end on the stone, strike, turn, and repeat, and repeat, and repeat, and repeat. . .the angled blade will work debris out of the hole as you progress.
