Bud Rector

We are sad to announce that our longtime employee, Bud Rector, retired last spring.  Bud started working at Trow & Holden in 1995, although he’s been a friend of the family for much longer. Bud is an expert machinist and inventor, and during his time at Trow & Holden he was constantly generating new ideas for both production and product development. One of his most successful projects was the development of our wheelabrating process, which plays a critical roll in making sure every Trow & Holden tool has a consistent finish.

He was also the inventor of all of the “rubber goods,” like the Chisel Whizard, Chisel Retainer, and Air Tool Pistol Grip. We already miss Bud a lot, but his legacy will live on at Trow & Holden, and we wish him the best for a much-deserved relaxing retirement.
