Instructional Day of Walling with Trow & Holden

This October 6th, Trow & Holden Company, the Vermont Granite Museum, and The Stone Trust will be partnering to host a 1-day instructional dry stone walling day in Barre!

Hosted onsite at the Vermont Granite Museum, this event will correspond with other stone-related festivities scheduled for Rocktober Fest. It is the perfect opportunity to receive some hands-on instruction covering the basics of dry stone walling, all set against the beautiful back drop of Vermont's fall foliage!

This walling day will also be laying the groundwork for future dry stone walling programs to be hosted in Barre, as the Vermont Granite Museum and The Stone Trust pursue the development of a regional worksite on which to host more robust dry stone walling training and certification opportunities!

Join us, and help advance the rehabilitation of one of central Vermont's historic properties while learning to build beautiful walls that can withstand the test of time.  Registration is required with only 20 participant slots available!  For more information about this event and to register, visit the sign-up page at TheStoneTrust.org.

We hope to see you there!
